Today, the NLRB ballots will be mailed out, and you can finally make your decision to be a part of the M.E.B.A. We look forward to welcoming you into our organization and representing you. In this election, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard. That decision will shape your future.

Choosing the M.E.B.A. as your bargaining representative will ensure your best interests are prioritized.

It has become evident that the Company does not have your best interest in mind and as they have forgotten about their previous commitment to mariners’ well-being. Remember: the M.E.B.A. has a proven track record of advocating for the rights and welfare of maritime professionals. A few reasons M.E.B.A. is best equipped to be the future bargaining representative of OSG deck officers:

1. Experience and expertise: M.E.B.A. has been representing members since 1875 and is the oldest and greatest officers union in the industry. We understand the vast and ever changing  challenges facing deck officers in the rapidly changing industry.
2. Undeniable Collective Bargaining Power: Collectively, with the engineers, the strength that the M.E.B.A. yields is significantly greater than on your own. With a united front, we can fight the Company to deliver improved contract terms.
